Wednesday September 1, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 600 block of Petersburg Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a garage building to be about 75% involved in fire.  There was a fuel tank exposure next to the building that was undamaged.  The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.  E-351. E-352, L-360, S-364, R-374, C-375, C-376, C-377, Airport E-974, Point Pleasant L-1360 and Burlington T-720 all responded to this incident.

 


Wednesday August 11, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 10.8 mm on EB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a vehicle that had rolled several times along the side of the highway.  The driver was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352 and S-364 all responded to this incident.

 



Tuesday July 27, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 5200 block of River Road for a reported accident with extrication.  Upon arrival  units found a car that had rolled over several time on it's top in a yard.  There were three patients outside of the vehicle and no extrication was needed.  All three patients were transported to either University or Children's Hospital.  E-351, E-352, S-364, Point Pleasant 1364 and Burlington 714 all responded to this incident.

 


Tuesday July 6, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the offramp from WB I-275 to Northbend Road for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle.  Everyone was out of the vehicle and uninjured.  The fire was quickly extinguished, but the car did receive significant damage.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.


Monday July 5, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Hart Drive for a report of a brush fire next to a house.  Upon arrival units found that the fire had been extinguished by the homeowner and minor damage was caused to the siding on the house.  E-351 responded to this call.

 


Tuesday, June 8, 2010  Members of C Shift responded to Swan Circle for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from the garage area.  The fire had started in a garbage can outside and spread to the side of the house.  Crews extinguished fire that had extended to the attic and checked for extension.  The damage was limited to the garage area of the structure and everyone escaped from the house uninjured.  E-352, E-351, L-360, S-364 and Point Pleasant L-1360 all responded to this incident.


Thursday, June 3, 2010 
Members of B Shift responded to the 1100 block of Aviation Blvd for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found two pallets of cardboard on fire that had been moved outside.  The building was filled with smoke and crews investigated finding no further fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and smoke removed with minimal damage being caused to the business.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375, Airport 974 and 975, and Point Pleasant V-1367 all responded to this incident.

Wednesday, June 2, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to the 2600 block of Berwood Lane for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found nothing showing but the homeowner advised she opened her door and saw smoke and heard the smoke detectors activating.  Upon further investigation units found that a fire had occured in the bedroom and had burned out prior to their arrival.  There was smoke damage throughout the house.  L-360, E-352, C-377, S-364 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Saturday, April 24, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Petersburg Road near KY 212 for a reported accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a 2 vehicle accident with 4 patients and no extrication needed.  One patient was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare, the other three by ground.  E-351, E-352, R-374, S-364, Airport S-964, Point Pleasant S-1364 and Burlington S-714 and C-727 all responded to this incident.


Thursday, April 1, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 1100 block of Aviation Blvd for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a fire in a machine inside that had spread to the dust collector.  The building was filled with smoke.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the building was ventilated.  No one was injured in the fire.  E-351, E-352, L-360. R-374, U-367, S-364, C-375, C-376, Point Pleasant L-1360 and V-1367, Erlanger E-51, Burlington E-701 and Kenton County Air 1 all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, March 31, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Sheridan Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a small fire in a table saw in the basement of the house.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the house was ventilated.  E-351. E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375 and Point Pleasant L-1360 all responded to this incident.


Friday, March 26, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 10.4 mm on Westbound I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a van fully involved in fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished but the van was a total loss.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this call.

 


Sunday, March 14, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the Ohio River in the area of Taylorsport drive for a reported boat that sank with three victims in the water.  Upon arrival units found that two victims had swam to the shore and removed themselves from the water.  Both victims were transported to the hospital.  Searches were conducted along the shore and in the water for the third victim.  Unfortunately, the third victim was unable to be located and searches are still being conducted due to the high water on the river.  E-352, R-374, S-364, C-376, C-375, Burlington S-714, NKTRT, Boone County Water Rescue, the U.S. Coast Guard and multiple other agencies all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, March 10, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Aviation Blvd. for a reported garbage truck fire.  Upon arrival units found a garbage truck with a fire in the rear compactor area.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351 and Airport 951 both responded to this incident.


Wednesday, March 10, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Hebron Fire Station 2 for a walk-in patient that was involved in an ATV accident.  The rider was a child that had a head injury.  The rider was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-352 and S-364 both responded to this incident.

 


Tuesday, March 2, 2010 Members of B Shift responded to the 212 off ramp to Donaldson Road for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a tow truck with a well involved engine compartment fire.  Everyone was out of the vehicle and the fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351 and Airport E-951 both responded to this incident.

 


Sunday, February 21, 2010 Members of A Shift responded to 1261 Aviation for a reported dumpster fire.  Upon arrival units found a fully involved dumpster fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and no exposures were effected.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.

 


Wednesday, February 3, 2010    Members of B Shift responded to I-275 WB at the 2.4 mile marker for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a vehicle that had hit the guardrail and the driver was still trapped inside.  The driver was extricated and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, S-364, Point Pleasant L-1360 and S-1364 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, January 19, 2010     Members of B Shift responded to Canyon Court for a reported fire alarm.  Upon arrival units found an unoccupied house.  Smoke was noted inside the house so crews forced entry and found a fire in the basement.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the house was ventilated.  The fire was caused by an aquarium in the basement and was beginning to spread to the walls.  E-352, L-360, E-351, S-364, C-375 and Point Pleasant L-1360 all responded to this incident.


Monday, January 4, 2010     Members of B Shift responded to assist Burlington Fire Department with a chimney fire on Tosha Drive.  Upon arrival units found smoke coming from the Chimney and some inside the house.  There was a fire in the chimney due to the build up of creosote.  The fire was extinguished and did not extend to the house.  Engine 351 responded to assist Burlington on this call.


Thursday, December 31, 2009    Members of A Shift responded to the area of Graves Road and Sequoia Drive for a substance in the creek.  Upon arrival units found that high expansion firefighting foam from one of the warehouses had been dumped into the creek.  The foam caused quite a mess on Graves Road and was diluted by E-352.  E-352, HM-373 and EMA 201  all responded to this incident.


Sunday, December 6, 2009 Smoke in Building    Members of B Shift responded to assist Point Pleasant Fire District with a possible structure fire at the Holiday Inn on  Airport Exchange.  Upon arrival units found smoke in the lobby and banquet rooms.  The problem was found to be a burnt up motor on one of the rooftop HVAC units.  E-351, R-374, Erlanger, Florence and Crescent Springs all responded to assist Point Pleasant on this incident.


Sunday, October 18, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Injuries    While on the scene of the accident below members of B Shift were notified of another accident on WB I-275 at the 4.7 mile marker.  E-352 responded and arrived on-scene to find that an SUV had rolled over and two occupants had been ejected.  AirCare was dispatched to this accident also but unfortunately both occupants of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries on-scene.  E-351, E-352, S-364, Airport S-964 and C-978, Point Pleasant L-1360 and S-1364 and Erlanger M-98 all responded to this incident.


Sunday, October 18, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Injuries    Members of B Shift responded to the 5.3 mile marker on EB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a pick-up truck about 50' off of the highway into a tree.  There was one person inside the vehicle and he was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352 and S-364 all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, October 14, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Extrication   Members of C Shift responded to WB I-275 at the 3.4 mile marker for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found one semi and three other vehicles involved.  One patient had to be extricated.  Four patients were taken to the hospital one to University Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352, S-364, S-365, Airport 964 and Point Pleasant 1364 all responded to this incident.


Sunday, October 11, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Extrication   Members of A Shift responded to WB I-275 at the 5.6 mile marker for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a single vehicle into a guardrail.  The patient had to be extricated and was transported to University Hospital by AirCare.  E-351, E-352, R-374, S-364 and Point Pleasant 1360 all responded to this incident.


Monday, September 14, 2009 Hay Fire   Members of A Shift responded to the 1400 block of Elijah Creek road for reported hay bales on fire.  Upon arrival units found multiple large round hay bales on fire throughout the field.  The bales were broken apart and the fires extinguished.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.


Tuesday, August 4, 2009 Structure Fire   Members of B Shift responded to Baymiller Lane to assist Burlington with a structure fire.  Upon arrival Burlington units found fire showing through the roof of a 2 story house.  The house was vacant at the time and it appears that it was struck by lightning.  The fire was quickly extinguished with most of the damage contained to the attic area.  Engine 351 responded to assist Burlington on this call.


Wednesday, July 29, 2009 Auto Accident w/ Extrication   Members of B Shift responded to the 6.6mm on WB I-275 for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a car that had rear ended a tractor trailer with 2 patients.  One patient was entrapped and had to be extricated.  Both patients were transported to the hospital.  E-352, R-374, S-364, C-375 and Airport S-965 all responded to this incident.


Thursday, June 25, 2009 Building Collapse   The same thunderstorm as below and one later that night caused many other problems throughout Hebron.  Numerous buildings were struck by lightning, one warehouse had an electrical fire and there were numerous flooded basements, trees down and auto accidents.  One significant run was the partial collapse of a warehouse on Worldwide Blvd.  Upon arrival units found several sections of the exterior load bearing walls and roof collapsed.  NKTRT was notified but diverted to the flooding below because it was determined that no one was trapped inside the building.  The area was secured until engineers and building officials arrived.


Thursday, June 25, 2009 Flooding   A large thunderstorm moved through Hebron causing Woolper Creek in the Petersburg Road area to quickly flood.  There was a report of two kids in the creek and several houses under water.  One house was knocked off of its foundation and a foundation wall of a church was knocked over by the force of the water.  Due to numerous other calls tying up Hebron units Burlington Engine 701 arrived first and had NKTRT dispatched to assist with possible rescues.  The kids were found to be safe and nobody was injured in this incident.  Alexandria, Burlington, Covington, Erlanger, Union, Point Pleasant and Hebron units all responded to this incident.


Wednesday, June 24, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Extrication   Members of C shift responded to Locust Grove Road to assist Burlington with a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found two vehicles that had collided head-on and 8 patients involved.  One person had to be extricated and two were flow to the University of Cincinnati and Children's Hospital by helicopter.  S-364, S-365 and R-374 all responded to assist Burlington with this accident.


Thursday, June 18, 2009 Structure Fire   Members of B shift responded to Aly Sheba Drive in Burlington the assist Burlington Fire District with a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found light smoke in the building.  The fire was found to be smoldering in the wall and was quickly extinguished.  L-360 responded to assist Burlington with this incident.


Wednesday, June 17, 2009 Accident W/ Injuries  Members of A shift responded to I-275 at the 6.2 mm for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a vehicle in the woods.  One person had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.  E-352, E-351 and S-364 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, May 26, 2009 Accident W/ Injuries  Members of A shift responded to westbound I-275 at the 2.7mm for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a car and semi involved but no extrication needed.  The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  E-351, Point Pleasant L-1360, S-1364 and Erlanger M-98 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday, May 26, 2009 Accident W/ Injuries  Members of A shift responded to the 2900 block of Limaburg Road for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a car that had rear-ended a truck.  The driver of the car was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  E-351, S-364 and U-367 all responded to this incident.


Sunday, May 24, 2009 Motorcycle Accident  Members of B shift responded to the 9000 block of River Road for a reported motorcycle accident.  Upon arrival units found a motorcycle that had gone off of the road with the rider laying next to it.  Unfortunately the rider succumbed to his injuries prior to our arrival.  E-352 and S-364 both responded to this incident.


Saturday, May 23, 2009 Equipment Fire  Members of A shift responded to 1155 Worldwide at Amazon.com for a reported fire alarm.  While enroute security reported smoke coming from the computer room and the run was upgraded to a structure fire.  Upon arrival units found heavy smoke in the computer room but no fire.  The fire was found to have been in a piece of computer equipment and was contained.  E-351, E-352, L-360, R-374, S-364, C-376, Point Pleasant L-1360 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Monday, May 18, 2009 Auto Accident W/ Injuries  Members of B shift responded to the 13 mile marker on I-275 for an auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a single vehicle on its top.  No extrication was required.  One patient was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  E-352, E-351, C-376, S-364 and Greendale L-340 all responded to this incident.
