Friday March 22, 2013    Members of B Shift responded to Riverwalk Ct. for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found three houses and two cars on fire.  One house was fully involved in fire.  E-352 requested a second alarm and began attacking the fire.  The fire was quickly brought under control but took about an hour to completely extinguish.  One house and two cars were a total loss, one house had heavy damage and the other house had damage to the exterior.  All Hebron units, Point Pleasant, Burlington, Erlanger, Airport and Petersburg units all responded to this incident.

          
 
                                 




Friday March 22, 2013   
Members of A Shift responded to the 5000 block of Burlington Pike to assist Burlington Fire Department with a barn fire.  Upon arrival units found a large barn fully involved in fire.  The fire took several hours to extinguish and several animals did perish in the fire.  E-351 along with Bellveiw/McVille and Petersburg responded to assist Burlington with this fire.








Friday March 1, 2013   
Members of B Shift responded to the 2800 block of Coral Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found fire coming from a second floor window.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the house was searched.  There were no injuries but heavy damage to the second floor of the house.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-365, C-375 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.

                        



Sunday February 10, 2013   
Members of C Shift responded to Country Place for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke coming from the apartment and a fire in the bedroom.  The fire was quickly extinguished and there was moderate damage to the apartment.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375, EMA-201 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Saturday February 9, 2013   
Members of B Shift responded to Damascus Drive for a reported electrical fire.  Upon arrival units found light smoke in the basement and a small electrical fire in the water heater.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351, E-352, S-365 and L-360 all responded to this incident.



Friday February 8, 2013   
Members of B Shift responded to the intersection of Langley Blvd and Wright Blvd for a fuel spill.  Upon arrival units found a tractor trailer on its side and a small amount of fuel leaking from the saddle tanks.  The fuel leak was confined and no injuries were sustained in the accident.  E-351 responded on this incident.


Wednesday January 23, 2013   
Members of A Shift responded to the 600 block of Petersburg Road for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a bus fully involved in fire next to a building.  The fire was quickly extinguished with minor damage to the building.  The bus was a total loss.  E-351, E-352, C-376 and Airport Units all responded to this call.



Monday December 10, 2012   
Members of B Shift responded to the 10.2 mm on Eastbound I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a fire in the engine compartment of a car.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.





Monday November 12, 2012
    Members of A Shift responded to Bullitsville Road to assist Burlington with a structure fire.  Upon arrival Burlington units found a working fire in the garage of a house spreading to the house.  The fire was quickly extinguished but the house did sustain extensive damage. E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.




Friday October 12, 2012    Members of C Shift responded to the 14 mile marker on I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found two trucks involved in an accident.  There was fuel leaking from one of trucks.  E-351, E-352, S-365 and C-375 and Greendale units all responded to this incident.





Thursday September 13, 2012    Members of A Shift responded to the 4400 block of River Road for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a car fully involved.  The fire was quickly extinguished but the car was a total loss.  E-351 responded to this incident.





Friday August 31, 2012    Members of C Shift responded to Ashby Fork Road to assist Petersburg Fire District with a structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from a log cabin house.  The fire was quickly extinguished and tankers were used because of the lack of water in the area.  E-351 and E-352 responded to assist Petersburg with this incident.



Wednesday August 15, 2012   
Members of B Shift responded to assist Burlington Fire Department with a structure fire.  Upon arrival E-701 found a house with heavy fire in the garage and attic.  Entry was made into the house and the main body of fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351 assisted with overhaul, extinguishment and water supply and L-360 assisted with RIT.  E-351 and L-360 responded to assist Burlington with this fire.



Wednesday August 15, 2012    Members of B Shift responded to Petersburg Road and Bullock Lane for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a car that hit a parked car and an electric pole.  The electric wires started a grass fire because of the dryness and one person was injured.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the patient transported to the hospital.  E-351 and S-364 both responded to this call.



Thursday July 26, 2012    Members of C Shift responded to Silverleaf Drive for a report of smoke in the residence.  Upon arrival units found light smoke coming from the attic of the house.  There was a small fire found in the attic, the fire was quickly extinguished and the home ventilated.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364 and C-375 all responded to this incident.



Thursday July 12, 201
Members of C Shift responded to Progress Drive for a reported accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a tractor trailer that had rolled over a hillside.  The driver was not in the vehicle at the time and no one was injured.  Engine 351 and HM 373 stayed on-scene for fluid clean-up.  E-351, S-364, C-376 and HM 373 all responded to this incident.



Friday June 8, 201
Members of C Shift responded to Country Place for a reported apartment fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from one apartment.  The fire was found to be in a bedroom and was quickly extinguished.  There was minor damage to the apartment.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364 and C-375 all responded to this incident.


                                      




Sunday June 3, 201
Members of C Shift responded to River Road in the area of Taylorport for a reported subject hit by a vehicle.  Upon arrival units found a male that had been hit by a vehicle and had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.  The vehicle that had hit him fled and was later stopped by PD further down the road.  The driver faces several charges at this time.  Hebron units provided lighting for the investigation for several hours.  E-352, E-351 and S-364 responded to this incident.



Friday June 1, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Barbara Drive for a reported fire alarm at a daycare.  While enroute dispatch advised that there was an actual fire in the kitchen.  Units arrived to find smoke showing from the building and the children being evacuated.  The fire was quickly extinguished and everyone got out of the building uninjured.  E-351, E-352, S-364, C-376 and Burlington Ladder 710 all responded to this incident.


                        




Saturday May 28, 201
Members of A Shift responded to Country Place Blvd. for reported drowning.  Upon arrival units found a 7 year old that had drowned in a swimming pool.  The child was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.  E- 351 and S-364 both responded to this incident.

Members of B Shift responded to Sand Run Road for a reported tractor accident.  Upon arrival units found a tractor rolled over with a subject trapped underneath.  Unfortunately the subject trapped had succumbed to his injuries.  It took several hours to extricate the subject from underneath the tractor.  E-351, E-352, and S-364 all responded to this incident.




Friday April 20, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Hebron Baptist Church for a vehicle fire.  Upon arrival E-351 found a vehicle with a fire in the engine compartment.  Everyone was out of the vehicle and the fire was quickly extinguished.  E-351 responded to this incident.



Thursday April 12, 201
Members of C Shift responded to area of Petersburg and Fister Place for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a 2 vehicle head-on collision.  One patient was transported to the hospital.  E-351, S-364 and C-376 all responded to this accident.





Wednesday April 11, 201Members of B Shift responded to the area of Limaburg and Youell Roads for an extrication accident.  Upon arrival units found a car upside down in a tree with one person trapped inside and one person already out of the vehicle.  The vehicle was stabilized and the victim was extricated after about 30 minutes.  Both victims were transported to St. Elizabeth Florence with minor injuries.  E-351, E-352, S-364, C-376, Burlington E-701 and S-714 all responded to this incident.



Wednesday April 10, 201
Members of A Shift responded to the area of Petersburg and Aviation for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a head-on accident with one person entrapped.  The entrapped patient was quickly extricated and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by AirCare.  C-376, E-351, E-352, S-364 and Airport S-964 all responded to this incident.



Sunday April 8, 201
Members of B Shift responded to assist Burlington with a structure fire on Apollo Drive.  Upon arrival Burlington units found heavy fire in the attic of a by-level house.  Hebron personnel assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the fire.  Crews initially started an interior attack but were pulled back due to possible roof collapse and the main body of fire was knocked down with Ladder 710's master stream.  Crews were then able to go back in and mop-up.  There was heavy damage to the house.  E-351 and L-360 both responded to assist Burlington with this fire.



Wednesday March 7, 201
Members of B Shift responded to the intersection of Northbend and Langley for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a t-bone accident involving two vehicles.  One subject was still trapped in his vehicle but was able to be accessed from the passenger side without extrication.  One patient was transorted to the hospital.  E-351, E-352 and S-364 all responded to this accident.



Saturday March 3, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Rightway Nursery on Northbend Road for a reported dumpster fire.  Upon arrival units found a 6 yd dumpster on fire.  The dumpster was filled with yard waste and other debris and the fire was quickly extinguished.  Engine 351 responded to this incident.



Friday March 2, 201
Members of HFPD responded with the Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue Team to Piner, Ky to assist with search and rescue from tornado damage.  An F-3 Tornado roared through parts of Northern Kentucky on this date.  There was extensive damage and several residents did lose their lives.  HFPD members assisted with checking damaged houses and rescuing victims as needed.

Debris also fell throughout the tristate carried from a tornado in Indiana including this 4 foot piece of metal roofing which fell in Station 1's parking lot.







Tuesday January 24, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Aviation Blvd for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a fire in a machine at the business.  The fire was contained to the machine and crews quickly extinguished the fire and checked for extension.  There was moderate damage to the machine and one employee was burned and taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375 and Airport E-974 all responded to this incident.



Saturday January 21, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Longbranch Road to assist Union Fire District with a structure fire at Bill's Carpet Store.  Union fire units arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the building and immediately called for additional units.  E-351 responded and assisted in extinguishing the fire which took several hours.  The building was a total loss.  Hebron E-351, Erlanger, Burlington, Walton and Florence all assisted Union with this fire.




Wednesday January 18, 201
Members of B Shift responded to Conner Middle School for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from the front of the building and the school was evacuated.  The School Resource Officer reported a working fire in one of the boy's restroom and he was unable to extinguish it with a fire extinguisher.  E-351 crew stretched a handline into the school and quickly extinguished the fire.  The school was vented, there was smoke damage to several hallways and school was canceled for the rest of the day.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, U-367, C-375, C-376, Burlington E-701, Point Pleasant L-1360 & V-1367 all responded to this incident.

                             




Thursday January 5, 201
Members of A Shift responded to Country Inns and Suites for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a light ballast that had caught fire in one of the guest rooms but was out on arrival.  Units overhauled the room and found no extension.  E-351, E-352, L-360, C-375, S-364 and Airport 974 all responded to this incident.



Thursday January 5, 201
Members of A Shift responded to the 5.9mm on WB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a semi on its side leaking fuel.  One patient was transported to the hospital and the fuel was contained and removed.  E-352, S-364, U-367, C-375, C-376, EMA 200 & 202 all responded to this incident.



Monday January 2, 201
Members of A Shift responded to the 13mm on WB I-275 for a reported multi-vehicle accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found 2 separate accidents, a 5 car wreck at the 13.1mm and a 12 car wreck at the 13.6mm due to icy conditions.  Two pts. were transported and the road was cleared.  E-352, S-364, S-365, U-368 and Greendale Engine and Ambulance all responded to this incident.



Saturday November 19, 2011 
Members of B Shift responded to Rock Creek Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a small fire in the garage ceiling between the first and second floors.  The ceiling was pulled and the fire was quickly extinguished.  Damage was limited to the garage.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375 and Point Pleasant E-1351 all responded to this incident.



Saturday November 12, 2011 
Members of C Shift responded to Watts Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a one story house with heavy smoke showing and heavy fire involvement.  There was also a report of two occupants possibly trapped inside.  Crews quickly knocked the majority of fire down and did an interior search finding no victims.  No one was at home at the time of the fire.  The house did sustain heavy damage.  E-351, E-352, L-360, U-367, C-390, C-375 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.

            




Sunday September 25, 2011 
Members of A Shift responded to Blair Ct. for a reported tractor fire.  Upon arrival units found a trackhoe about 50% involved in fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished the trackhoe did sustain heavy damage.  351 and 352 both responded to this incident.




                            



Monday September 5, 2011 
Members of A Shift responded to the 2000 block of Petersburg Road for an auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a semi that had rolled from a loading dock down a hill, into the woods and crashed in a creek.  No one was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.  E-351 and S-364 both responded to this incident.

Members of B Shift responded to Glenview Drive for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a house that had been struck by lightning with minor damage and no fire found.  E-351, E-352, S-364 and L-360 responded to this incident.

Sunday July 17, 2011  Members of C Shift responded to Bridgette Lane for a reported drowning. Upon arrival units found that a two year had been pulled from a swimming pool.  The child was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.  351, 352 and 364 responded to this incident.


Saturday June 4, 2011  Members of B Shift responded to the 5.3 mm EB I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a van on fire in the area of the fuel tank.  Foam was used to extinguish the fire due to the fuel involvement.  E-351 responded to this incident.


Wednesday June 1, 2011  Members of B Shift responded to the 4500 block of Burlington Pike to assist Burlington with a possible structure fire.  Upon arrival Burlington units found flames coming from the rear of a two story house.  The fire was quickly knocked down and units checked for extension.  E- 351, S-364 and Bellview/McVille T-1172 all responded to assist Burlington with this incident.  Photo courtesy Burlington FPD.


Sunday May 29, 2011  Members of B Shift responded to Ridgefield Drive for a reported drowning.  Upon arrival units found a one year old child that had fallen in a swimming pool.  The child was pulled out of the pool and a neighbor performed CPR prior to fire units arriving.  The child was concious when units arrived and transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.


Tuesday May 24, 2011  Members of C Shift responded to Camp Ernst Road at the YMCA Camp to assist Burlington with a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival Burlington units found one of the cabins about 50% involved in fire.  A tanker shuttle was set-up due to no hydrants in the area and the fire was contained to the building of origin.  E-351 along with Bellview/McVille and Florence units responded to assist Burlington with this incident.  Photo courtesy Burlington FPD.



Tuesday April 19, 2011 
Members of A Shift responded to Lumberjack Drive for an attic fire.  Units were enroute to another reported attic fire when they saw smoke coming from this residence.  Crews forced entry and quickly extinguished the fire.  The other fire down the road was also quickly extinguished.  Thunderstorms had just passed through the area prior to both of these fires.  Units from Hebron, Burlington, Point Pleasant and Erlanger responded to these fires.



Tuesday April 19, 2011 
Members of HFPD responded to Old KY 17 in Kenton County for flooding.  The NKTRT responded to assist Erlanger with flooding from Banklick Creek after heavy rains in the area.  April 2011 has been the wettest April ever  in the Cincinnati area and many floods have occured this month causing the activation of the Swift Water Rescue Team.  Boat 369 was put in the water to check flooded houses for residents that needed to be evacuated.  Luckily all residents were safe and the water receded quickly.



Wednesday March 9, 2011 
Members of B Shift responded to the 4.5 mm on EB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found a single vehicle that had struck the median cable barrier. The occupants of the vehicle were not injured.  E-351 and S-364 both responded to this incident.





Tuesday March 8, 2011 
Members of A Shift responded to the intersection of Northbend and Conner roads for a reported auto accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found a 2 vehicle accident with one car that had rolled over.  One person trapped in the car was quickly extricated and transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital.  E-351, E-352, S-364 and C-375 all responded to this incident.



Saturday March 5, 2011 
Members of A Shift responded to the 5000 block of Limaburg Road for a reported structure fire in a manufacturing occupancy.  Upon arrival units found the fire to be extinguished but smoke throughout the building.  Units checked for extension and cleared the building of smoke.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364, C-375, Burlington E-701 and Point Pleasant V-1367 all responded to this incident.


Tuesday March 1, 2011 
Members of C Shift and the Northern Kentucky Technical Rescue Team responded to the 1700 block of Grandview Drive for a reported animal rescue.  Upon arrival units found that a dog had fallen 75 - 100 feet down a steep hillside.  A low angle rope system was used to lower and firefighter down the hillside and bring the dog back up.  The dog only had minor injuries and is doing fine.


Wednesday February 2, 2011  Members of C Shift responded to the 6.9mm on WB I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a van fully involved and all the occupants were out of the vehicle.  The fire was quickly extinguished. E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.




Saturday January 29, 2011 
Members of B Shift responded to the 5000 block of Limaburg Road for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrivals units found 3 vehicles involved and one that had rolled over.  No one was injured in the accident.  E-351 and S-364 both responded to this incident.



Thursday January 27, 2011 
Members of B Shift responded to Hart Drive for a reported chimney fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke and flames coming from the chimney.  The fire was quickly extinguished and overhaul was performed finding no extension into the house.  E-351, E-352, L-360, S-364 and C-375 all responded to this incident.




Tuesday January 18, 2011 
Members of C Shift responded to the 4.8mm on EB I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival units found a flat bed truck carrying a military vehicle with fire showing from the rear axles of the trailer.  The fire was quickly extinguished and was found to have started as a brake fire and spread to the miltary vehicle on the trailer.  E-351 and E-352 both responded to this incident.



Tuesday January 4, 2011 
Members of C Shift responded to Petersburg Road and Victory Place for the report of an overturned tanker truck.  Upon arrival units found a 4500 Gallon tanker truck carrying diesel fuel on its side.  The truck was leaking a small amount of fuel which was quickly contained by crews.  The fuel was offloaded from the truck and the truck was uprighted which took several hours.  There were no injuries in the accident.  E-351, E-352, S-364, C-377, HM-373, EMA-201 and EMA 202 all responded to this incident.



Monday December 20, 2010 
Members of A Shift responded to the area of the 4mm on WB I-275 for a reported accident with extrication.  Upon arrival units found four vehicles involved but no extrication needed.  Three patients were transproted to the hospital.  E-351, E-352, S-364, S-365 and Point Pleasant S-1364 all responded to this incident.


Thursday December 9, 2010 
Members of A Shift responded to the area of the 5mm on EB I-275 for a reported auto accident with injuries.  Upon arrival units found two cars that had crossed the median and were stopped by the newly installed cable barriers.  One person was injured and taken to the hospital.  E-351, S-364 and C-376 all responded to this incident.



Thursday December 9, 2010 
Members of A Shift responded to assist Point Pleasant with a structure fire.  Upon arrival PPFD units found fire showing from a top floor apartment of a two-story apartment building.  Everyone was out of the building and the fire was quickly brought under control.  E-351 and L-360 and Erlanger E-51 all assisted Point Pleasant with this call.

Wednesday November 3, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 4200 block of River Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found smoke showing from the house.  There was a small fire in a bedroom that was quickly extinguished by crews.  Ventilation and overhaul was also performed by crews E-351, E-352, S-364, C-375, U-367 and Point Pleasant E-1351 all responded to this incident.


Saturday October 30, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to the Petersburg exit on I-275 for a reported vehicle fire.  Upon arrival E-352 found a van fully involved in fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the van was a total loss.  E-352 and Greendale E-340 both responded to this incident.

 


Friday October 22, 2010  Members of B Shift responded to the 7000 block of River Road for a reported combine fire.  Upon arrival units found a large combine in a field on fire.  The fire was mainly confined to the engine compartment and quickly extinguished.  E-351, E-352 and C-375 all responded to this incident.

 


Saturday September 18, 2010  Members of A Shift responded to Nicole Lauren Drive for a reported oven fire.  Upon arrival units found a stove fire that had been extinguished by the homeowner and the home filled with smoke.  Units checked for extension and ventilated the house.  E-351, E352, L-360, S-364 and Burlington E-701 all responded to this incident.


Wednesday September 1, 2010 
Members of B Shift responded to the 600 block of Petersburg Road for a reported structure fire.  Upon arrival units found a garage building to be about 75% involved in fire.  There was a fuel tank exposure next to the building that was undamaged.  The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished.  E-351.
